Is there a better picture of him that you can add? I hope with the storm the other day he came home. Please UPDATE us if he has/hasn't.

Most cats stay fairly close to home when they get out so chances are high your cat is on your property or somewhere on your block, most likely three or four houses away. Search at night with a flashlight because the eyes will glow. Cats sometimes get stuck up in trees and can't get down so check there. Also check inside and under places he might be stuck or hiding such as sheds, barns, garages, crawl spaces, decks. Talk to your neighbors, put up missing cat posters up to a half a mile away, post on all local social media, and make sure to check with animal control weekly. Some people have had luck by putting something with the cat's smell, or the scent of home, out on the porch. Sometimes people also have luck finding their cat by walking around at dawn carrying an open can of tuna or smelly canned cat food.

Sorry your beautiful kitty is missing. Is he microchipped? Is he wearing a collar with identifying information? I am assuming he is not an indoor cat--is he? Be sure to post on all local lost pet sites including Skippy Lou's and Nextdoor. Check the found cat posts there also. Let local vets and shelters know. Put flyers up in your neighborhood--not everyone checks social media. Make sure he is not trapped in the house or outside somewhere. Look nearby: in trees, in bushes, under cars, under porches, under decks, and in your neighbor's yards. Ask your neighbors to be on the lookout for him. Ask them to check their crawlspaces, garages, and sheds. A neighborhood cat once got stuck in our crawlspace, and he was there for days before we knew it. Shake his treats or call him like you do when you feed him. Carry opened tuna when you are looking for him, and use a flashlight to catch his eye reflections. Place your clothing and his bedding outside so he can follow the scent. I am praying that he gets home immediately.
