Thank You for being so Kind and helping this Kitty!! You may want to put the Kitty on PawBoost.com They help find lost owners. Check with Neighbors where you found her and ask the area mailmanâthey usually know about pets in their area. Also, if you have a Neighborhood e-page you may want to put the Kitty on there as well. They usually cover several Neighborhoods. Put up signs at intersections near where the Kitty was found. Use neon colored poster board with bold black writing on them - and a picture if possible. Take the Kitty to the Vet to be scanned for a chip to hopefully identify the owner. Be sure to ask for proof and Vet references (and look up the Vet and call them), ask to see pics (most people have pics of their pets on their phones) before you give the Kitty to anyone who says it is theirs. Some people take pets to sell or worse. Thank You again. You are the kind of people the world needs more of!!Read More
If able, try posting on the local Nextdoor app (if possible), lost .petcolove .org and watching craigslist. If you post to other groups, be sure to add the county, city and state to your posting since the posting may be shared nationally.
Also, take flyers to shelters and vet
offices with a photo and report the pet found. They have a board for both lost and found pets. Remember, not everyone is on Social Media.
(IF able, try taking to a vet to check for a microchip too. Ask for proof of ownership by either vet records or a picture from the phone.)Read More
Any new pet added within 2 miles of your location will be automatically shared to your Nextdoor feed.
The post will automatically update when a pet is reunited.
