Can you please put the dirty litter tray outside and put a piece of your worn clothing and/or worn shoes on the clothesline or undercover. Also go out when it’s dark and quiet the best time to head outside and call her/him is between 3-4am. with hot bbq chicken. Listen for a familiar meow as may be stuck or locked in a garage or shed. Also door knock and check neighbor’s yards. Some cats have recently been found locked in neighbours sheds and garages. One had been up a tree for 3 days. Check all local vets, shelters, Check found posts on Facebook etc and put up posters in shopping centres and on local community boards.

When your cat goes missing from your house, they almost always stay very close to their house. They will be extremely scared especially when the daylight starts and more foot traffic so they will most likely hide somewhere or stuck somewhere in your neighbours garage, rooftop, backyard etc. don’t expect your neighbours to look for your missing pet and your pet will be scared of them so they will hide. You need to get out there late at night, best time is around 2 - 3am and call your pets name. They will recognise your voice and your scent..you will also be able to hear your cat’s meow. In the meantime, leave your front door or back door open with food inside. In most cases that I know, they came back through the door. They know where the food is so when they get hungry and safe to move, they will come back. If the door is closed they will eventually move further to find food. If you live in an apartment setup a trap near the main entry and make sure to monitor it. Leave your cat’s used litter tray and hang your worn clothing outside the door so he/she can follow the scent back to your place. Hope you find your baby soon.
