✅ Please check for a microchip. It's free to check with any vet, the emergency vet is open 24/7. Also free with PetSmart and animal control when they are open. Be sure he is securely leashed so he doesn't get away at chip check location. ✅ The Nextdoor app is a helpful resource as well for lost/found pets. ✅ Check with neighbors at pickup location. May belong to someone who is not online. ✅ Please keep special identifying details to a minimum 🚨Require proof of ownership from anyone trying to claim (vet papers, old photos etc). ✅ Report to animal control and the shelter in case the owner calls or goes there looking for their pet. ✅ Please give the required 72 hours for the owners to try and find before rehoming. ✅ Check vet references and charge a rehoming fee to anyone looking to adopt so the pet doesn't end up in a bad place. Hope the rightful owner is found soon 🙏

FOUND LOST DOG, IS THIS YOUR DOG??? Put up posters w/ph.no./email 1 to 10 mile radius, ask anyone if they know the owner, put the posters near the roadway and businesses so people can see them!! Email All VETS a poster w/ph.no./email, ask them if they know the owner, is she microchipped and registered?? Put a sign in your yard and on the street corner, FOUND LOST DOG, get Proof of Ownership!! Check Pawboost, Pawboost Community, Next Door, X, & 24petconnect periodically, you can also put her online with Next Door, X, & 24petconnect because some people don't come online FB!! There are some LOST AND FOUNDS HIGH POINT, NC, online here along with some that have the person's name!! Check several pounds to see if anyone has come in or called about the dog!! If you decide not to keep the dog, PLEASE give her to someone you know well, a NO- SHELTER, SPCA, (not ASPCA) or other organizations (except PETA), HUMANE SOCIETY, PLEASE do not give her to the pound, pounds have moved up their days of euthanasia!!!!!!

I’m in love… for many years I had a little dog named Ginger who was one of these “Benji” dogs cockapoo of some sort. Adorable. I’d give this baby a home in a heartbeat.
