Post some ads up around the area go out walking the neighborhood knocking on doors ask your local neighbors post some ads on local lost and found pet sites. You could google these in your area. There should be four or five you can Google such as neighbors next-door and so on there should be four or five you can Google I did see a cat like this missing just a couple days ago, but I don’t remember. Where could you please check the sites to see if you see the cat on there as missing or you could put the cat on these sites as found check with local veterinarians check with local animal shelter and Humane Society let them know you found this cat just in case somebody is looking for their baby, but it does look familiar. Please try to find his family before you give it to the animal shelter they only keep them for four days and they put them down poor baby prayers. If you cannot find his family. What about a cat rescue or a no animal shelter in your area you should be able to Google these sometimes they do ask for $20 per cat at the No animal shelter because they are a no shelter. They are a nonprofit organization that goes by donations, but they do guarantee the baby is a great loving home and vet checked with shots. Please continue to give this poor baby food, water, and inside shelter. Maybe it’s got a home somewhere in the neighborhood. Maybe I got out of the house in the neighborhood. Check for microchip check with local neighbors. Post some ads up around the area. prayers for this poor baby please check the Lost and Found pet sites in your area. Thanks prayers

It could have be taken and dumped in your area. Any vet can check for a chip. Can you keep it inside tonight? Contact Community Pet Rescue to see if they can get it scanned or take it in. Boone County Animal Services, 4546 Squaw Prairie Rd, Belvidere, is open M-F 9-4, by appointment, for adoptions, reclaiming pets or rabies tags. They are closed Sat/Sun.
