Message from Owner

She has a heart on her left ear. She got out of our gate along with our other dog Blu. Bella id a pit bull terrier and Blu is a Italian Mastiff. They are both spayed and chipped. Please return them Bella was a birthday gift in 10-20 and Blu is our emotional support dog after the loss of our son born in 11-21. Please return my dogs. They are well taken care of pets, that are not outside dogs. They are scared and very much loved. Bella might be dirty but is due for her bath on Saturday at 11 along with Blu. Please please bring them home. There also could be a reward!!!

Help find your dogs Do: Wait patiently at the scene for as long as possible. Stay put so your dog can come back following your scent. “Let the dog come back to you.” When you must go home, take a dirty sock, t-shirt, or underwear that has been close to your skin and place them outside of your home. This is another scent lure. Set up a “meat trap” using odorous meats. This is done based on investigative work. For example, after a neighbor saw your dog running up a hill, the meat and water would be placed at the foot of the hill. Broadcast that your dog is missing using social media, posters, and word of mouth. Ask people to report sightings rather than attempt to retrieve your dog. She will be frightened and run away again. Use sighting reports to use scent based lures like clothing or food. Leave doors open so that your dog has a way to get inside when they return home. Do Not: Leave the scene and start searching for your dog. You are spreading your scent and making it more difficult for your dog to come back to you. Close up your house so your dog has no way of coming inside when they return. Chase your dog or yell their name. This will only drive them furtherHelp find your dogs Do: Wait patiently at the scene for as long as possible. I came across a group called ( TrueHigh service )on Facebook that helps with locating missing pets. Might be worth checking them out since they seem experienced with situations like this.

Immediately put out clothing outside around the perimeter of your house and leave the garage door ajar. Check in person daily and drop off a picture to all applicable shelters daily! In person! All of the shelters are understaffed and overcrowded. Praying 🙏

Hi there, this is Indy Pets: lost & found💕🐾 https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1A7636jza2/?mibextid=wwXIfr Please **🚨IMMEDIATELY🚨**set out owners DIRTY bedding / blankets & dogs fabric dog bed) outside your door, OR outside the last location they were seen, up away from traffic, in a safe place) with their food & water bowls, away from traffic. The owners scent and SMELLY food left at the last location seen will help draw them back by smell. Place smelly bbq sauce on the grass or a high value smelly meat/wet dog food in the bowl . Please be sure this is all protected from the elements. Scent is crucial when pets are lost🙏🐾 Please check nearby parks, playgrounds, wooded areas/creeks. ***Lost pets use their sense of smell the most when lost*** Please be sure to post as lost on the IndyLostPetAlert.com NextDoor app or their website Neighbors RING app & 24petconnect.com Be sure to check with Indy Humane on : Located on: 24petconnect. com to see if they have been picked up by Marion Co animal control. Located on 5001 S Raymond St Southside Animal Shelter: Rosie's Southside Animal Shelter Located on 1614 W Edgewood Ave Prayers for a safe return home💕 🐾
