This sweet boy is looking for a loving home through no fault of his own. He was previously well cared for by a neighbor who sadly past. After being left behind, he spent time on the streets looking for kindness, but despite his rough patch, he remains a incredibly gentle soul who loves human interaction. We are temporarily fostering him, but our apmt complex will not let us keep him, so we need to find him a permanent, safe home as soon as possible. PERSONALITY & TEMPERAMENT: Sweet & Gentle: He has a calm, sweet and quiet disposition. He has never scratched, and while he was initially a bit overwhelmed, he is a total sweetheart. Warm-Up Time: He takes a little time to settle into new environments, but once he trusts you, his true loving personality shines. Love Language = Food & Scratches: Give him a bowl of food and he will look at you with heart eyes. He loves head, chin, and neck scratches! Gentle Communicator: He communicates his boundaries very softly and prefers gentle, light pets. HEALTH & PHYSICAL CONDITION: Appearance: He looks very clean and well-kept, reflecting his life as an indoor hse cat before his owner past. Weight/Appetite: He is currently a bit skinny from his time outside, but he has a fantastic appetite and is eating very well to regain his healthy weight. Vet Status: We believe he is a male based on physical traits. He has not yet been taken to a vet for a formal checkup or vaccinations since we brought him in, so his new owner should plan a routine vet visit. Ideal Home: A quiet, patient home where he can decompress at his own pace, gain his weight back, and receive all the head scratches he deserves.
