Description

🚨 LOST CAT – PLEASE HELP US BRING OZZIE ("KITTY") HOME 🧡🐾 Our sweet orange tabby, Ozzie ("Kitty"), is missing from the Saint Peters cndmniums near Willott Rd. and Jungermann Rd. Ozzie is 1 year old, microchipped, and very shy. He gets scared easily and will most likely hide instead of coming to people. He isn't wearing a collar (he never liked wearing one). If you have the time, please check anywhere a frightened cat could be hiding: • Under porches and decks • Garages, sheds, and storage units • Bushes, landscaping, and woodpiles • Any small, quiet places where a scared cat might feel safe If you find Ozzie, please take him to either: 📍 Pet Adoption Center 4850 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. St. Peters, MO 63376 OR 📍 Pet Health Center 4045 N. St. Peters Pkwy., Suite 202 St. Peters, MO 63304 They can scan his microchip and contact us immediately. The greatest gift we could possibly receive would be having our kitty safely back home with us. It would mean more to our family than words can express. We are heartbroken and just want our sweet boy home safely. Thank you so much for helping us bring Ozzie home. 🧡🐈

Ozzie “Kitty”'s Owner Says

🧡 OZZIE IS HOME! 🧡 After an incredibly long week, Ozzie is finally home safe, and we couldn't be more grateful. Our hearts are so full. He'll be going to the vet first thing tomorrow morning to get checked over, and he's already sporting a brand new AirTag collar so we can keep a much closer eye on our little guy 😉 We want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped us through this. To our amazing friends who searched alongside us, our incredible neighbors who kept such a close eye out (and ultimately helped us find him—you are absolutely amazing!), and every single person who shared our posts, offered advice, checked your yards, garages, sheds, and porches, or simply kept Ozzie in your thoughts... thank you. The support we received over the past several days has meant more to us than we can ever express. We're beyond thankful to have our sweet boy back where he belongs. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. 🧡🐾

If Your Kitty is normally an INSIDE cat... then he/she is definitely scared and hiding and you will need to go out at NIGHT with a flashlight and look for her/his “glowing” eyes. She/he is VERY CLOSE to your home most likely in YOUR OWN “yard”. Indoor cats usually find a hiding spot very quickly and very close to where they escaped. Look up in the trees and check under everything in YOUR “YARD” first… under decks, bushes, wood piles and sheds. Then check your neighbors “yards”. They are very good at hiding. THE BEST TIME TO FIND Him/her IS AT NIGHT WITH A FLASHLIGHT AND HER/HIS EYES WILL “GLOW” BACK AT YOU. He/she is so scared, she/he will NOT respond to you calling, so you'll have to use your eyes instead of your ears to find her/him. When normally inside cats are suddenly outside, they go into "survival mode" and their entire personality changes. They will NOT wander. They find a hiding spot very close by and are very scared and will not come out for anyone... even their owners. I hope you find your fur-baby very soon!
