Plaster HUGE CORRUGATED HUGE SIGNS 18Lx12W ASAP in a large radius until you get sightings or tips. These signs are VITAL to your search. They come in 9ft sheets to cut to the stated size. You will get 20 signs out of it. You can get the corrugated ones at Home Depot. Placing these signs should be ASAP when your cat goes missing until you get sightings or tips. If chipped notify the chip company and be sure your information is current. Get a humane trap and set it with some stinky sardines. Take a flashlight and warm/hot rotisserie chicken, chicken broth, sardines, tuna or anything that is stinky and make a trail from street to trap and house. Look for glowing eyes under bushes, culverts, etc. Cats usually come out between midnight and 4 am. Place something of yours that has your scent on it around perimeter of your house. If your pet is chipped notify your chip company to report lost being sure your information on file is current. Check your Local Animal Domestic Services online and if in doubt always go in person. Post on all Lost and Found Animal Groups on Facebook. IT IS NOT ADVISEABLE TO PUT A LITTER BOX OUT since it will draw all types of Predators which includes territorial cats which will fight your own cat. If you are a member on Neighbor and Nextdoor post there. Also post on pawboost.com if you haven’t already. HOME DEPOT SUPPLY LIST Order online & pick up *Corrugated plastic (Cut into 20 18x12 signs) https://www.homedepot.com/.../Coroplast-48-in-x.../205351385 *Jumbo marker ( NOTHING ELSE) https://www.homedepot.com/.../Everbilt-Jumbo.../304706360 *Zip ties https://www.homedepot.com/.../Commercial.../203531914 *Knife https://www.homedepot.com/.../Stanley-6-in.../100000053 Put ONLY the pertinent information : DONT MAKE IT WORDY!! PERTINENT INFO ONLY. You don't need a photo unless you chose to do so. If anyone sees a cat that matches this description they should call you. TAN/WHITE Breed Color of COLLAR IF ANY CALL ***-***-**** Poke holes in top & bottom of sign Put zip ties through the holes on the top and the bottom through the poles in the stop sign post. Put signs around & on every single stop sign around your house.

Check DAS everyday. Put up very large neon corrugated signs. Alert neighbors, knock on doors asking to check security cameras for any sightings, leave your contact information. Post and check on craigslist, nextdoor app, ring app, and all possible Facebook sites. If chipped report lost to chip company. Go outside at night with a flashlight to look for your cats eyes in bushes, under cars, in culverts and up trees. Do not put out litterbox box or food, it will draw unwanted wildlife and other animals. If you want to put something out, use something with your scent. Cats may sometimes hitch rides so if you see one that resembles yours but not in your vicinity, check it out.

The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. They have to use their sense of smell to get home again. Put anything outside that smells like their territory. Put the pajamas you slept in outside because you probably sweated in them. Put out their food your stinky socks your smelly sneakers anything you can think of that the cat will recognize by smell. Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week or so sleeping in the bushes during the day and coming out at dusk and dawn. Those are good times to take a walk shaking the treat bag calling out but cats also tend to come out and walk around very late at night. Try to keep a door cracked if you can whether it's the garage or whatever or a window cracked so you can hear them if they call out for you. Put this on all of the neighborhood pages as well as lost and found pets sites. Knock on the neighbors doors and make sure they know you're looking for your cat. Good luck PS cats can smell up to one mile away from their own house. Absolutely no litterbox outside or food. It attracts predators is why. Never give up.
