- Creating a dog scent station from a rescue who helps reunite pets. Take an unwashed article of THE OWNERS clothing.( Socks , Sheet, Underware & Hang it in a tree ,on a fence , a pole or edge of roof & put an article of unwashed clothes on ground below. The wind will carry the scent. If there is another dog in the home take that dog's fresh poop and rub it on a rag & hang it high . Open your gates. Your garage door , turn on all your lights. Put a rug or towel on porch with a bowl of water. Do not put the dog's bed or the dog's toys outside. The only scent we want is from the owners. Please do this ASAP. Rain or Shine.A dog can find its way back from miles by following a scent. They don't operate like humans on sight or sound. Also saturate the area with bright flyers.& file a lost report with your local shelters and check those in person in case your dog is there.

Come on, careless stop putting your dogs through this living especially in this DEMN heat. If you cannot take care of them. The way you should don't have any.

You have likely done this already but if not, please post flyers in the area where Bugsly went missing, and knock on doors. Not everyone is on social media. You might also ask folks to check their security monitors... Might capture something useful in the footage. Also remember to check the Pawboost FOUND and SIGHTINGS listings, and with local animal shelters. And phone to ask their current protocols. I have heard that visiting in person to review their intake logs is the best way to get accurate information. I hope to read a positive update soon.

Shared. Post her on Nextdoor as well and check frequently for updates on both websites. Check the shelters frequently, in person is best. File a missing report when you go in. Contact local rescue groups just in case. Not everyone checks social media, post flyers in the area. Include veterinary offices and pet stores when you post the flyers. Good luck 💓

Check with homeless people some like to keep stray dogs for company or to sell. If not done report to shelter as lost and check in person. Set a scent station outside your front door with your dirty clothing and some hanging from a tree dogs can follow the scent from far away, hang flyers all over. Post on Nexdoor, Ring and Pawboost to reach more people. You can also do this to spread the word.
