Margi Magruder please don't judge like that and comment. why not just scroll on by??. she is in the process of moving due to a breakup, she didn't make the cat leave nor make it not come back. but she is sad enough without the negative judgements. 👌 Cats that are indoor/outdoor cats most definitely Don't get lost. My dad's cat that was an outside cat when he someone gave her to him, never needed a litter box inside. MewMew let him know when she needed out and let him know when she was back. never went to far, even if she stayed out the whole night..

I’m sure you don’t want any advice. I’m sure you know that cats cannot be outdoors and indoors and not get lost. I’m sure you know that moving is very stressful for an animal and that maybe he could’ve been in a carrier or cage while you moved.

Cats are usually found within a four or five house radius. They may be hunkered down, hiding or trapped somewhere. Ask your neighbors. Go outside at dusk or dawn with a flashlight, and look for your cats eyes reflection. Shake a container of treats and get his attention. Cats may not vocalize so you must search carefully.

Make an online report lost.petcolove.org which posts to the PACC website using facial recognition. Make an online report with the Humane Society Check on the PACC website under cats that have been found. Go to PACC in person every day To check.

Push up flyers in a very large area around where he was last seen. Make a scent trail by putting his bed and some of your old clothes and shoes outside.

Is she Microchipped? If so notify the company that she is missing and make sure your contact info is up to date. Blanket your neighborhood with big bright flyers and ask people to search garages and sheds and parked vehicles like RV'S and other places where she could have gotten trapped inside. Search with a flashlight to reflect eyes and a treat bag to shake and pop top cans of smelly food to pop open now and then. If she is not used to being outside then she is probably hunkered down hiding somewhere close by. Post on other places like Nextdoor and Craigslist and pawboost and lost petcolove org and Facebook lost and found pages but be aware of scammers targeting lost and found pages never give money up front to anyone who says they have your cat or can find her and never agree to meet anyone alone. Keep searching and spreading the word.
