I still am in shock, I’ve raised this baby since she was a newborn she was found on the side of the road. We let her be an indoor/outdoor cat and she loves being outside but she also always comes back either by herself and waits at the door or when i call her name she responds with a couple meows and she comes home. I really don’t know what to do i’m so heartbroken that she is gone. We miss our baby soo much please please please help bring her home.

Cats have a great since of smell and can smell familiar scents from a mile or more away. So put out some bedding that he used, or something that you have worn that has your scent. Then at night leave a window up enough that you can hear him if he makes a noise. Calling him may help. A guy who had read many suggestions, including trying to call the cat after it was dark, went a bit further and used a Speaker Phone to call his cat. The cat came running out of the woods and into his arms immediately. FREE TO COPY AND REPOST. FROM DECADES OF ADVICE PASSED ALONG BY MOUTH AND SINCE 2014 ON THE INTERNET. RESCUE GROUPS ALL KNOW THIS.

Leave some of your laundry outside your home to help him find his way home by scent. Also leave a door, lower window, garage door cracked open enough for him to find a way back into the home. They normally try to get back inside the same way they got out. If he is scared, he may be moving at night when it is quieter and looking for a way back inside. Hope this helps 🙏
