Message from Finder

Dog was taken to ASPCA. We would have taken dog in for time being but our dog is not great with other dogs. My boyfriend and another lady found the dog, his phone number is. Dog seemed well fed, and nails trimmed.

I went to the Brandywine Shelter and Providence Shelter to check on him. Neither shelter has ever had him. I tried to call the cops to ask what happened but got someone very rude on the phone who clearly did not want to help. The lady at Brandywine said that most likely the dog was taken to the vet initially to check for a chip and he probably had one. He was probably reunited with his owner. I wish I could provide a definite answer.

Adrianne Fusco Of course!! I love dogs, i really wish I could have taken him in!! Me and my boyfriend are going to call the shelter in about a week or two if we don’t hear anything and bring our dog to see if they get along. We think the dog is around 8 or 9, and we know usually older dogs don’t get looked at as often. I will make sure to keep providing updates!

Ashley Nafash Neither are mine unless it's a young Puppy. I didn't realize you went through the police, I just wanted to make sure that they were looped in so that if owners contacted them they knew where the dog could be found. Thanks for keeping this Baby safe. 🐾💕

Adrianne Fusco Yes, police were called and they were the ones who said they were taking him to Brandywine SPCA. We have not heard anything about a chip. He did seem well fed and nails trimmed. I wish we could’ve taken him in for the time being but our dog is not great with other dogs.
