This cat comes to my hse and I feed him daily for the past month. I think it’s a male. Super sweet. Looks like it was someone’s pet. Stays in my backyard most of the day. I live in Nautica Sound by Santa Luces High school. He comes in my hse so if it belongs to someone, I can hold him for them. Looks like a young cat.

Yes, please have him scanned for a chip if you haven't yet. I've been able to get two lost pets back home by doing this. It only works if you take the time to get him scanned...and I know it's a nuisance! If you can look under his tail to see if he's neutered, the neutering always(?) comes with an implanted chip. I did take a long-haired cat to be scanned and he didn't have a chip, but he also wasn't neutered. Hard to tell with all that fur.

Any vet will scan for a chip free of charge. Talk with neighbors and check past posts on lost pet sites, if you haven't already
