Penny - please add your phone number to this and all posts - if someone sees your cat you want an immediate call 24/7 If someone texts and asks you to send a code number - it is a scam - just block them Contact your chip company to make sure your contact info is current and accurate. Buy a RING doorbell or security camera and put food out in front of it so you can see when your cat is there eating. Look for neighbors who have RING doorbells or cameras and ask them to put food out. I live off of Kerber and have food out for cats - I will let you know if I see him on my camera if I can get a phone number. Your cat is probably close by but is a good hider - I will call you with more help (I have signs, etc)

Darlene Nordos I’ve got flyers up, checked with vets, shelters, city and county. He’s microchipped and I contacted them either date he was lost. Talked to neighbors. Talked to those walking in neighborhood to look for him

Rachel Lundgren yes, he’s microchipped l. I have contacted both the city and the county CSO’s with his information and my contact information. I’ve contacted local vets and the emergency vet and gave them his microchip number. Flyers are out, multiple posts on social media. Lots of walkers in my neighborhood and people calling dogs, talking to all of them. Checked with shelters, rescues and Hunane society. Checking Craigslist.

Tell mail carrier, neighbors, and check nearby vets and shelters, IN PERSON AND OFTEN. Make posters with a picture and bring them to the above and post all over. Ask neighbors to check garages and sheds. Cats often don't go far but will hide close by. Walk around and call and look. Never give up. Use all online resources you can find, Nextdoor etc. 💜

No matter how long your kitty has been gone, stay vigilant with all lost cat protocols and advice - kitty may have been taken in by a well meaning person and could be very near - keep posters and flyers fresh and communications current with local animal control, vets, and rescues for new leads - keep the faith 💪🏼 Extra strength prayers your kitty is safe nearby (cats usually stay in the vicinity) and home very very soon - put their food and warm shelter outside your door in a protected area and/or in your garage - diligently canvas the area and local businesses with large colorful posters and flyers - contact local animal control, vets, and rescues for any possible leads - cross post on neighborhood/community FB pages for further reach - cats are superior survivalists - stay vigilant in searching and don’t lose hope 🙏🏻❤️💪🏼 P.s. Beware of scammers saying they have found your kitty and to message them your contact information. And also how an Instagram site helped them find their pet - don't click on site. All BS scammers. 🙏❤️💪🏼
