*Start asap* all these tips from all of us are really great tips... they really do work... pleaseeee keep repeating...check with your neighbors for any sightings and ask if they have cameras..go out really late at night or really early in am... middle of the night with flashlight and call for him/her and then quietly listen he/she may be hiding scared injured or stuck somewhere ...shine the flashlight around his/her eyes will reflect off of it...keep checking the shelters go in person make sure you're going to correct shelter where animal control would bring a cat from your area... they are too busy to contact you and check all the pets coming in...set up trail cameras near ur home ..they only take pics when something is in front of it moving ..so you don't have to look thru 24 hours of camera everyday... (there are great ppl out there to lend one to you and so many ppl in the community will help you look for him/her) if you can monitor, set a humane trap with really strong smell food to attract and make sure that’s the only food out for him/her…all the tips to find lost cats really really do work please follow them.keep posting and we'll keep sharing and hang lots of fliers talk to as many ppl and hand them fliers...it'Il keep him/her on everyone's mind so they are always on the lookout…concentrate on putting up fliers especially in ur area they really don't go far at all. If they do go outside or are not neutered/spayed may travel further. No litter box please it may attract predators. Prayers for your kitty out there and you find ok on him/her asap!!!

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA and other animal shelters rent them out for $100. When you return the trap you get your $100 back. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.

Post Lost posters. Walk your neighborhood at night with a flashlight and treats. Check the bushes and hiding places. May be scared and hiding. Keep looking. Good luck. 🙏

Here are some ideas that may help... Check in and around sheds, garages, under cars and under hood of cars, especially when it’s cold out. If you or your neighbors’ car windows were down, retrace areas where unknowingly kitty may have been a passenger. Check your attics, crawl spaces and in between walls, any appliances in which a door may have been accidently shut, i.e., washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove...also check in closets and drawers. Also look above in trees, rooftops, ledges ! Take a flashlight with you both day and night to catch a gleam from kitty’s eyes. Cats usually travel very late at night or early morning. Leave porch door or garage door open. Leave strong smelling cat food (tuna) or kitty’s favorite food out during normal feeding times and at night (watch out for other hungry critters though). Go outdoors and shake a bag of treats, calling kitty’s name calmly and listen often for a response, kitty may be hiding or trapped somewhere close by. Also leave a familiar blanket or bedding or worn clothing items from kitty’s humans! Post flyers, give flyers to local mail carrier, trash collector, UPS/FED-EX driver, dog walkers, joggers, neighborhood children, alert neighbors, post on nextdoor .com, surrounding towns’ lost and found and other FB organizations as well, alert veterinarian offices in case kitty is brought in. GO to (do NOT just call) SPCA or humane shelters to see for yourself, be adamant about seeing all of their cats, (in case of mistaken breed and/or ) … humans make mistakes too! Don't forget to file a missing pet report. I have seen recently on Facebook that people suggest sending a message to @satellitepetsearch on instagram as they are highly recommended, also sending a direct message to "Satellitefurlostpets” via instagram or a private search service team “animalsatellitesearch1” on instagram. Try googling drone services near your area! Drone services for pet retrieval use thermal cameras to detect animals' heat signatures, allowing for the rapid scanning of large areas, including dense terrain, even at night. These services provide real-time footage and can quickly locate a missing pet, with assistance for the safe recovery of the animal once found. You can find providers by searching online for terms like "thermal drone pet recovery" or looking for local pet search and rescue organizations that utilize drones. Good Luck and I pray that kitty returns home soon!
