This cat was obviously someone's pet since he is very playful, human friendly, smart and took to a collar as if he has always had one. Been hanging around over a year. In Jan had him neutered, rabies vacc'd, tested FELV and FIV negative. Problem is one of my rescues (M) is going blind and the other (F) is his protector. They are very upset having this cat around but are somewhat tolerant. He is large and imposing. He really needs re-homing if previous owner is not found. I just love him but need to find him another good home.

I know it is confusing. The stray had been coming and going for quite some time, stealing food I put out for my two outside rescued cats during the day, and spraying his scent and intimidating them. Occasional fur flying. I did spend some effort to find out who may own him in the neighborhood but came up empty handed. So I trapped him and took him to the vet with intentions of making sure he was healthy and neutered before turning him loose where I trapped him. He left for a day and returned. So for the past few months I have been trying to work with him to fit in with my other rescues who have been together with us for the past 6 years. I know he was a pet of someone since he accepted a collar without flinching, rubs all over my feet and legs, follows me around, loves to be petted and tries like the devil to force his way into the house when I am coming or going. My inside female rescue cat is petrified of him as he stalks the windows looking for her. He eats his food and turns to the other cats' food to finish up. I just need help finding a good home. I hate to think a shelter may just have to be that place. Thanks for your asking and nice comments.

Sorry but I'm confused. You said it was found Jan. 2026 then post that's it's been around for over a year. Maybe it's a typo but please clarify or correct it. If it's been a year & you haven't found the owner then probably won't find them. Thanks for taking care of this fur baby but may need to take it to your local SPCA or Animal Shelter. I know SPCA here puts them up for adoption at PetSmart. Thanks again for taking care of this fur baby. Hope & pray it gets adopted soon. 🤗🙏
