German Shepherd mix. Medium dog, 46 pounds

Athena is a sweet, loving 9 month old puppy who is known to be extremely skittish. After her spay at NAWS, she escaped from her collar and disappeared outside. She's a very, very scared dog and has not had any food or water since before midnight of 7/20/26, as per the vet's instructions. She responds to her name, but is wary of strangers and may bolt if accosted. Please, get her back to us.

City, Town, State???? Streets, Cross Streets,, Go to your shelters and see if Athena is there, DON’T JUST CALL give them a picture of Athena and tell them When and Where lost, Area, Streets, Cross Streets and a phone number where You can be reached,,, Put up A Lot of lost dog posters with a picture of Athena and Area, Streets, Cross Streets and When and Where lost and a number where you can be reached,, Be Aware of Scammers, Pray Athena is seen and found safe snd soon. Monique Brown Hang flyers up immediately in upside down gallon size baggies to protect from the weather, notify local mail carriers, UPS and Fed Ex drivers, and garbage men (they cover a lot of ground), ask neighbors to check their cameras/ring for possible sightings, check shelters daily bc the stray hold is usually only a few days, put her bedding and some of your dirty clothes outside for her to track the scent. Post on Nextdoor app, post on PetFBI.org, and all neighborhood apps, ask businesses to check their cameras. If she is chipped, notify chip company that she is lost. Praying you find her soon. I cannot express enough how important flyers are. Not everyone is on social media.
