Message from Owner

My Daisy was stolen out of my backyard by my landlord and her drug addict daughter. Daisy was last seen Tuesday morning going potty in our backyard. She was on her blue cable tie out wearing her pink harness. Landlords daughter was recorded on my camera driving down to my hse and then my dog is gone. I have reason to believe she has her hidden or sold her for drugs. We are physically sick not knowing what they have done to our Daisy. Please contact the sangamon county DSs county DSs if you see her!

Kara Hamer thank u Kara! You know FOR A FACT all I've done for this woman n see thru the smear campaign to try to ruin us! Her cronies are believing ONLY WHAT SHE TOLD THEM n bc it all started when she forced me to evicted her, she's certainly not going to tell ppl this is all her fault that she put a convicted felony before her children knowing if she allowed him out here she'd b evicted. Yet she chose to risk it got caught n ignored 2 WARNINGS only to continue to have him out here. Now, she is lying and making up anything she can come up with to ruin my name, Angie's name n my business. She WILL B HELD ACCOUNTABLE! I still pray Daisy will b found or find her way back here...

I feel bad that your little one is lost. I have know Sherry Steinacher for over 36 years and she has a very reputable business Ryshers Farm. She is all about the care for those animals. Always has been. She literally would do anything for you and has talked that way about you and the kids. Not sure what is going on here but this is messed up. This is not Sherry’s character nor will it ever be. Hope you find your baby.

This post is cross posted on a Menard county page - in said post Alexis and her friends are using what happened to my dog as a smear campaign against Sherry & Rysher farms. Please read before making any assumptions. Hi there. I’m half of the couple whose dog passed away after our house fire. I’d like to clear things up from our end. Sherry has been nothing but incredibly kind to us and our animals. We talk to Sherry on a normal basis, and not once have we ever felt anything but thankful. We’re at Rysher farms often, dropping off dog food for our three remaining dogs that Sherry is still caring for. The place is always clean & I’ve never seen an animal who looked anything other than happy to be there. Sherry offered to care for our four dogs while we search for a new home after losing ours to a fire. Moose is the dog who passed away, he was a happy healthy beagle. While we still aren’t sure what exactly happened, Sherry called us as soon as she noticed that moose was acting strange. She told us we needed to get him into a vet immediately, she drove all the way to Petersburg vet with moose to meet my wife, Myranda. Sherry stayed with Myranda the whole time they were at the vet. All that we know for sure is that moose’s kidneys and liver seemed to be shutting down. They pushed fluids and and kept him overnight. The next morning we received a call from Petersburg vet to let us know that moose had passed away early that morning. When I called Sherry to let her know, she cried with me and shared our pain. After hours of research on sherrys end and ours, we came to the conclusion that it was likely the new bag of dog food we had just brought to rysher farms one day before for our dogs. The dog food we had been feeding them was purina one. There are many recalls and similar complaints with this specific food. Many dogs had the same symptoms & on the same timeline as moose, and ended up passing away. There are multiple class action lawsuits currently in the works because of this. Petersburg vet, as well as ourselves do not believe food or water was withheld from Moose at any point. No one has ever stated or suspected that moose had been without food or water, or that he was being or had been mistreated in any way. The slander against Sherry and or Rysher farms is absolutely disgusting. We do not agree with or support any of the hateful comments that are being thrown at her. As long as Rysher farms is open & sherry is there - we won’t take our dogs any where else to be boarded and I will encourage any one I can to seek out Rysher farms because Sherry is so clearly full of love for all the animals in her life. To the people who are throwing accusations, making incorrect assumptions, telling flat out lies, or insulting her and or her business - you should be ashamed of yourselves.
