And.. ? Where was it? In its own yard? On your driveway? Was it in distress-injured? Maybe it’s an in/out cat that was - out. Leave it be - ask your neighbours - someone might know of him. Post on Neighbourhood social media sites. You could take it to a vet for a chip scan to find the owner or let it be so that it can - go home. Keep your eye out for it - if it needs help - help it.
