Catherine Komar I know this might be a stretch but I’m a student at Padua Franciscan High School in Parma and I saw a similar looking cat wandering near campus. Hopefully you find him!!

Put out something that he's familiar with that carries his scent (a bed, a blanket but NOT a litterbox). CALL FOR HIM IN THE QUIET, STILL HOURS (11pm-7am). THIS IS SO IMPORTANT (5am seems to be the luckiest hour)!!!!!!! Scared cats move around while the rest of the world is still. Put out food in intervals (not at night) when you can keep an eye out. Talk to your neighbors, generally, they don't go far and find an open garage or shed to huddle down. If these suggestions don’t work: lost pet cats may not respond the way you’d expect your beloved kitty to and they may not just come to your calling so be prepared to have to use a humane trap (he will return to himself once he’s back inside) and put signs in your local pet store (if someone takes him in they will need litter and food). I hope you find him 🍀

♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️ for FRANKIE to come home soon 🐾🐾 Some of these won’t apply for apartments: 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛ CHECK your closets, drawers, bookcases, under beds, furniture, etc also. Could your cat(s) have gotten into an an air duct or attic? 🐾🐾 If you have not already done so, consider: 🐾🐾Source: Scott Benjamin 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛LOST CAT TIPS: Cats rarely go far and are often found very close! Indoor only cats are found the closest to home! They hide very well, especially when scared!!! Cats are very active at dusk and dawn and tend to move around more at night. The most successful things you can do; 1-Walk your neighborhood, talk to people as you can. 2-Talk to your mail carrier they see lots of animals!!! 3-Post fliers in your area with contact information and your cat’s photo!!! 4-Call for him or her, they know your voice! 5-Put their food/water, ** and cat nip outside your house to draw him back as they can smell these a mile away. **JP NOTE: Removed “litter box” as some discourage putting the litter box out if there are feral cats, coyotes, etc. Try putting cat’s blanket or your clothing outside instead. 6-Check nearby garages, especially under porches, decks, dense bushes, etc. They often wind up at your neighbors house!!! A strong flashlight will catch a cat's reflective eyes two blocks away at night and save you tons of time! 7-Let your neighbors know your kitty got out and give them your contact info. 8-Post on Facebook about your missing cat. Call local animal shelters, etc…Run ads in local newspapers too! Try lost cat sites like LostMyKitty, Sam The Parrot-Face Book, PawBoost, Lost Cats of whatever county you're in, etc… Post on Petco’s Lovelost database. Cats can disappear for days, weeks, months, years and return so never give up!!!! If someone took your cat call the authorities it's against the law here in Ohio to hurt or put an animal in danger. Get the cat micro chipped and have a collar on at all times. Indoor cats escape often! 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛ If you haven’t, it would help to include if your kitty is microchipped, wearing collar and/or ID TAGS.
