Our Green-Cheeked Conure parrot unexpectedly flew out our door on match 16th trying to land on my shoulder. She is brightly colored with green, red, yellow, and blue colors and should definitely stand out this time of year. She is extremely social and may try to land on your shoulder. We are in the Montville Lakes sub division off of Ridgewood Rd, and we're fairly confident that she will stay in the area. I saw her briefly yesterday 50 yards from our the day she got out but she startled and flew off. She's likely hunkered down to stay warm during the cold snap, but hoping she might show up at feeders or porches when it warms up. Darwin is a beloved member of our family and it's sorely missed. Praying she makes it soon.
