cats are often unintentionally locked into garages, Check neighbours sheds, garages, window wells etc. I have found mainly one of my cats over the years in garages x 2 & once in a shed, once up a tree... good luck

Please place his bedding outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing front and back door with a can of tuna on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home enterence . Show your neighbors a picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call immediately. Go early in the morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

Amy Reed thanks for advice, just called them. Mississauga Animal Services says posting on PawBoost is a report. There is no other way to reporting lost animal to them.

Shared. ASAP notify Mississauga Animal Services and check their website for found cats. Note that TWO days is a long time to a cat so you have no time to waste. If you have not done ALL these things do them now, if you have go further in your search Carefully check around your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots like closets, dresser drawers and hidden nooks and crannies, as cats often hide nearby when scared. Search all nearby shrubs, bushes and trees, window wells, garages and sheds. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. Cats will usually stay near the door they left for a day or two before searching for food. Advise local feral cat feeders who may spot her searching for food. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5-10 block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make an loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owner as safe.

Phone Mississauga Animal Services to report her missing in case she’s found and turned in. Put up posters all over the neighbourhood. Go out and walk the area at night while calling for her and shaking a bag of treats. They can hear you better at night and usually aren’t too far from home. Good luck!
