1. Hang flyers all over the area, throughout the residential neighborhood but also by main roads / town main streets / shopping centers / apartment complexes / train stations / bus stops / the post office / parking lots / grocery stores / local government buildings / police stations / local sanitation department / commercial truck and bus yards / industrial businesses / gardening businesses / local restaurants and other local businesses. Contact these places as well and make them aware of your missing dog / send them fliers for their workers to have. 2. Go *door to door* where he was last seen and ask them to check their yards / crawl spaces / bushes / under decks and also ask them to check their security cameras. Look for any public or private security cameras that might have captured your dog’s whereabouts. 3. Set up a search party on the neighbors ring app (make a lost dog post and turn on search party. You do not need a ring camera to download the app and post this. Make sure to keep extending the search party it will check in every few hours to ask if your pet has been found. Make sure to keep extending) 4. Scope out any nearby home and commercial construction sites / abandoned properties. Ground search these areas and hang fliers. Give multiple fliers to UPS / Fedex / Amazon drivers ask them to keep a look out on the job, hang fliers at their warehouses, keep a flier in their truck for other works, and spread the word to other delivery drivers. 8. Call local landscape businesses and make them aware / send them a flier / ask them to share with their workers. Also hand fliers out to landscapers while they are out. 9. Contact the local sanitation department and make them aware. Hang fliers at their office and truck yards, and hand out fliers to workers as you see them on their routes. 10. *File a police report* 11. Keep posting on social media to raise awareness! But also keep up with the ground search / hanging fliers / handing out fliers / talking to everyone in the area since not everyone has social media. For social media, post in every page / group you can find. All missing pet pages / groups, all town pages / groups, even neighboring town groups, long island groups, nassau/suffolk groups, mom groups. There are so many. Search for all of them and make sure to post in all of them. 13. Leave a scent trail at your home with unwashed / heavily worn clothes, their dog bed, and dog toys. Good luck!!!
