Message from Owner

My sweet rosie got out of our backyard this morning (08/07). She is terrified of loud noises and freaked out with all the construction. She is about 15 years old and cannot see or hear and has severe hip dysplasia as well as puppy dementia Rosie is a brown lab/pitty mix and last seen on W Lawn, right off of Himes. Please message me if you have seen her!!

Please check any areas with water. The vast majority of lost seniors that are blind and deaf will end up drowning.

Marcy Becker We have exhausted all resources and are doing what we can to find her. When your pets get out we’ll all judge you before knowing the circumstances and call you an irresponsible pet owner. Have a great day.

I hate seeing this because of irresponsible people who can’t keep their pets safe! Get out there and start looking…put her favorite treats starting a path from your house all around the neighborhood….

Sofia Prockop Thanks. If you have security cameras, check those to see if you can tell which way she went or if someone may have picked her up. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras as well. Look on Humane Society of Tampa Bay"s website under lost and found often, to see if updated with new lost /found pets. Post on Lost and Found Pets of Hillsborough County fb page. You can send them a message with this information directly. from their fb page. They will post. Put lost dog signs and flyers out. The flyers can be put in a plastic zip lock bag so they stay dry during the rain. Post on next door app and ring app. I sometimes see people who post an animal that was caught on their camera. Place some of your worn clothes or his toys, bed outside. Dogs have a keene sense of smell and may be able to find her way back home. Alert the chip company he is missing. Verify your contact info is up to date. You can also check with Humane Society or PRC to see if his chip has been scanned if you provide the chip #. You may also want to check at some of the surrounding Vet clinics, including ER Vet clinics, to see if she has been brought in for a chip scan. I hope you find her soon.if recently spotted, you might want to set a trap in that area.
