Message from Owner

Hello everyone! I am missing my cat, Violet. She jumped out a window early in the morning on Friday, June 5th and we have not found her since. We believe she is still in the neighborhood of Broadview ests, towards the last four streets. I am offering a $200 reward for Violet’s safe return home.

Check extremely good around your house and neighbors, shrubs, bushes, high grass, paper bags and trees, underneath porches and decks, outbuilding and garages, evening time when it’s quiet too, check all shelters in your county and animal control also.

You’re probably getting a lot of advice but I hope some/all of these tips help you bring your baby home quickly. Most important tip, do not wait for your cat to show up, even if they’ve escaped before and come home on their own! Be very active in your efforts to bring your baby home, fliers, door knocking, going out at night with flashlight, etc. If you’re unsure if he/she’s still close by I highly recommend an outdoor camera. It doesn’t have to be a Ring that requires a subscription. I have an indoor/outdoor Wyze purchased from Amazon for less than $40 (does require separate purchase of outdoor power cable but that was cheap). I set the camera up to alert me when it detects movement and it immediately pops up on my phone. Leave food out close to house/apartment entry to encourage your cat to stay close by rather than wander away looking for resources. Also, if possible, leave the door or window to the house/apartment or garage cracked open because they often will wander up and come right inside.

Warm up some tuna juice and hang it up outside in an old sock or something. may have to be done consistently but does work. Has to be warmed up for the smell to travel well and best done at night or when it is quiet I hope you find her soon! 🙏
