Cats dont stray far from familiar sounds/scents of their home, so your cat is probably nearby hiding. Check under cars, bushes, decks, covered furniture.. also check locked sheds/garages.. Look up & check the trees to see if the cat is hiding/stuck in a tree To keep your cat close to home and from roaming to find food: leave out strong scented food, consistently(every night!), also leave out something with a familiar scent.. your cat's bedding/toys, or an article of your worn clothing. Cats travel when quiet.. dusk, dawn, night time, please place cameras to monitor night activity Please post on Pawboost website, Neighbors Ring App, Multiple Facebook groups and Nextdoor website. Print flyers. Alert neighbors. The most important thing- set up cameras! Cats are most active around 3 am! Please leave food and search at night and monitor cameras! Call all shelters and animal control
