Message from Owner

This is Mia, we got her about a year ago when she was a pup, at the time that we got her our grandpa had just past and our mom was falling into depression, we got her Mia to help her with that and give her joy, we all love Mia very much and are trying very hard to find her, she went missing at around 4pm on march 28th on Ryan st in Salisbury after getting out of our gate through a little gap when we let her go out to the backyard to use the bathroom, if u have seen her please let us know. We can give a reward, we just want her back.

Put flyers up everywhere also make a poster tape it to your side window of your car. When u drive around others could see it. They don’t see the flowers.! check under port decking shed inside shed even garage Check ditches field woods. I tell people to check drains. There was a pug that fell into a drain. It was found three days late. It was still! Hopefully a hawk didn’t grab it or any other wild animal. I had a hawk almost grabbed my Chihuahua. Try looking all around like the woods if you have wood or field look around . I hope you find the baby have you tried getting up with a tracker just be careful do your research before you hire one some scammers I hope you find your fur baby if you do do what I do and I almost thought I lost mine. I put two little bells on her collar so I hear her everywhere though but good luck. I hope you find your baby.

Hang up outside, a couple items of the owners (unwashed, dirty) clothing for the scent to help lead her back home. Hang them up high, at least 4 to 5 feet above the ground, so the wind can pass through the fabric and carry the scent. Dogs rely upon picking up their owners scent to find their way back home. Also, if you have any nearby woods, lay some dirty clothing in the woods on tree trunks at the ground and leave them there until she returns. Try firing up an outdoor grill and slowly cooking bacon just 15 to 20 minutes at a time every two hours apart. Hungry dogs will often gravitate to the smell of grilled smoke filling the air. Also if she plays with squeaky toys walk around in the area she’s lost from squeaking her toy sometimes a familiar sound will bring a lost skittish dog out of hiding.
