Description
Olive Oyl is a beautifully marked calico with a very distinct face: she has an orange patch over her left eye/cheek, a black patch over her right eye, a solid white muzzle, and a pink nose. She has bright white paws ("socks") and a white belly, contrasted against a heavily dark black and orange marbled back and tail. Please note she is currently not wearing her collar and has no front claws.
Message from Owner
Olive Oyl as our regular indoor/outdoor calico. She usually loves to slip outside for a day or two, but we are now approaching a full week since she last came home, and we are incredibly worried about her. Before she went missing, she lost her collar, so she looks like a community stray right now. But she is a deeply loved member of our family. Because we rescued her from the streets years ago, she still carries some old trust issues. She is likely scared, laying low, and will act a bit "y" or defensive if someone approaches her too quickly. How you can help: Check the photos: She has a very unique "split" face—one side is bright orange, the other is black, with a perfect pink nose and white paws. Look in hidden spots: Please take a quick peek in your garages, sheds, or under porches to make sure she didn't get unexpectedly locked in or trapped. The Secret Weapon: Treats! She loves food. If you spot her, please don't chase or try to grab her. Just sit quietly, shake a bag of treats, and let her come to you. Safety note: She has no front claws, so even if she panics and swats at you, she is completely harmless. Please share this post, especially if you live nearby. If you see her, please try to lure her with food and call or message us right away so we can bring our girl home!
