Try putting something with your or his scent on it outdoors. Clothing, his bed or toys. This may help him to find his way home. Do not put his litter box outdoors, that can attract predators. If he’s an indoor cat he probably has not gone far. Go out after dark with a bag of treats and a flashlight he just may be scared and hiding. Good luck!
