Thank you everyone!! Found him behind a shed. We think he might have chased a lizard behind there, we have tons of those. It would also explained why he bounded away so fast. Guess he took an unexpected journey. Our kids have been reading "The Hobbit" at bedtime, tonight they were too sad to read it since Bilbo is the main character. They will be so relieved to see him when they wake up!! All of the tips were wonderful.

Check on 24petconnect.com, they are linked to all the local shelters and you can search by your zip code. Call and physically go into the shelters to look for him.

Also try playing cats or kittens meowing on YouTube outside in your yard or in a window of your home. Check with neighbors as he may have been accidentally locked in a garage or shed.

Try putting something outside with your scent on it, worn socks seem to work best. If you have a garage put a bowl of food in there and leave the door open enough for him to get in. Although I am sure you have already done this, start searching immediately and keep looking. Look in bushes, under cars, and anywhere he can crawl into, they tend to stay close to home. Take a can of food with you and call his name or use whatever sound gets him to come to you. Search early morning, evenings with a flashlight, and late at night. Praying for his safe return home 🙏
