Message from Owner

Lucy has been gone for a little more than a week unfortunately. I believe that someone does have her, I found her tracker+collar Wednesday morning in a grassy area a few hundred feet away from my home (I can see it from my backyard). It did not seem like a predator had taken her as her collar was not damaged at all and it could not slip over her head so I believe someone stole her. She is a friendly kitty and usually doesn’t go out for very long and is usually always home to get breakfast. I have knocked around and so far no one has seen her and nothing was seen on any cameras either unfortunately and nothing has surfaced from my other post either so hopefully a repost will help. I reward would be provided for her safe return home. My family and I miss her dearly and her kitty brother also misses her.

🐾 Lost Cat Search Tips • Go out late at night and early in the morning with a flashlight. Call your cat’s name, then pause and listen carefully. If you don’t hear anything, keep moving slowly through the area. • Check hiding spots nearby, including: • Garages • Window wells • Under cars • Bushes and shrubs • Decks and porches • Talk to your neighbors and ask them to check their properties, sheds, and garages. • Place dirty laundry or familiar-smelling items outside your home to help your cat find their way back. • Contact your cat’s microchip company and report them as lost. • Check local animal shelters frequently—visit in person if possible. • Post on: • Facebook lost & found pet groups • PawBoost • Create flyers and posters with a clear photo and your contact info. Hand them out and place them in visible areas. • ⚠️ Do NOT put out a litter box, as it can attract other animals and may discourage your cat from returning.

If she is microchipped then notify vet offices in the area in case the person who may have taken her has to bring her to a vet office for her health. The vet office will have your microchip number and contact information and can notify you that she has been brought in and has an owner that is looking for her - just a suggestion. In the meantime post signs in case the person who has her can see she is a family pet and loved. Prayers that she is found safely.
