Description

Black cat with white markings

Message from Finder

Meet Edabean, a cute, smart, lively, curious young stray who chose my as her safe place. She has a beautiful black coat with adorable white markings on her feet, chest, and even her whiskers. I believe she may have been domesticated at one point and was either lost or thrown out. When she first came around, she was very weary and hissy, but she’s slowly warming up to me and has become affectionate. I’ve been feeding her, but unfortunately am not able to take her in. I already have a cat who isn’t accepting of her. She truly deserves a loving forever family. I believe Edabean may be pregnant, so she will need a safe indoor space very soon to have her kittens. I’m hoping to find someone kind and responsible who can give her the care, safety, and love she deserves. Especially with babies possibly on the way! Please reach out if you can help, or share this post to help Edabean find her !

Thank you so much for your advice. I was thinking to create a safe indoor space for her to have her kittens, away from my other cat. My other cat is 19 years old, and I don't want to stress her out. And I will call the number you posted for spaying. Thank you.

❤️ Dear guardian ❤️ thank you for taking care of this sweet cat. Please understand Pawboost is just a website to post lost and found cats - not for adoption., NO ONE will adopt her from posting her on this website - please post on nextdoor and bring her into your bathroom where she can be safe for her to have her babies (she could have babies any day and it's raining outside and cold) - Please please I emplore you - don't let her have babies outside - they will struggle and most will die. ❤️ I have 12 territorial cats at home and I just rescued and placed a stray/abanonded cat off the street into my bathroom last night - it is totally fine - my cats are curious but it will not disrupt your household with your resident cat. I promise you - Your cat is not accepting because this kitty is outside - once you get her inside your bathroom your cat will 'smell' her and start gettign used to her. All you need is a litter box , food and water and large blanket for kitty to get cozy in. I have added several cats into my cat household by first keeping a new cat in my bathroom to acclimate and adjust for several weeks then a gradual introduction once time has passed. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Please Place her in your bathroom and call Oakland animal services to see about getting an emergency spay appt - if you are open to spaying her right away (getting her fixed) during pregnancy) - i would highly advise you to call today. Explain that you feed her outside ...but that you are hoping to find her a home so ask if them not to TIP her ear - let them know you cannot afford to pay and they will likely prayfully not charge you at all - I just did this with a pregant cat last month in SF - a young lady found a pregant cat - I called for her and she was able to bring kitty in the same morning for emergency surgery. ❤️ LOW COST SPAY AND NEUTER: They open at 7am call them Phone: (510) 639-7387 OAKLAND --> https://icraeastbay.org/resources/local-resources/spayneuter/ I'm happy to talk to you about this too if you'd like - my number is 650-339-6619 damia ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
