Leave your gates open and set water and dirty worn clothing in a covered area outside your front and back doors. Many dogs return during the quiet, very early morning hours, so keep watching and listening for him overnight

When searching or if he's seen, DO NOT CALL OUT or use his name. Even if he normally comes to you when called, it makes most lost dogs run more or hide, including from family. https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/dont-call-dog/
