Young, skinny gray tabby, a bit skittish but affectionate

A very sweet, but skinny gray tabby kitty showed up in our garage yesterday morning. She was starving. She’s a bit skittish to loud sounds, but loves people, snuggles, purrs loudly & makes biscuits. She knows the sound of a cat food bag & is litter box trained. We guesstimate she’s perhaps 3-4months old. 99% she’s a female. She just wants to sit in your lap & purr. She wants to come inside, which makes me confident she had a home! We’re off of Jericho, in River Bluffs. She may have come across Jericho into our neighborhood or from homes to the south of us thru the woods? She’s just too sweet & loving to be feral or a future garage kitty/mouser. My husband is very allergic + has asthma. This kitty needs a home. If you’re in Rockford, MI & you know of someone missing a young cat, please share 💕 I will be taking her for a microchip scan on Monday morning.

My step mom and dad found her on the side of the road not long ago. They took her in and she is so sweet. But to strangers very skiddish. She got out about 6 days ago.

This cat is more grayish than orange. The pictures arent great. Shes a female about 9mos old. Very skiddish, my dad and step mom live in rockford on Silver Ridge off of 9mi

Plz do not lose hope for humanity, but regard this as a serious matter! I've been seeing scary ppl online, on FB, who make and run: Lost and found, in many groups. They make Rehoming pets, Free pets, FB groups so that they can do their animal abuse in private and block anyone who calls them out in order to tell the others not to give them their animals (cats, dogs, and more). They also go to shelters. They collect them for profit, and terrorize them to death. Women are doing this tragic business. Plz understand I am serious! Men and women all have direct links to dog-fighters. They use cats for it. They drive between Chicago and Detroit for it. They drive from Oklahoma City at least an hour or more to get cats. This is a nationwide problem. They are also in the Michigan homes for pets FB group, lost n founds, and especially free pets groups. I have 20 so I can't Yes, I am from Michigan, BUT, this is happening nationwide.
