Message from Owner

we have 2 short hair black german shepherd males (fixed) who probably were chasing something yesterday and got turned around?? They dont usually leave . They both have a white spot (right around the ) One is stocky (super friendly and will go to people) the other skinny (vet said it's just his make, friendly but more skiddish. ) We are about at Deer Trail rd and Hwy 36. They both are brothers. They are well loved, please keep a look out. We are north of Hwy 36 and there are some hills on our 60 acres, my guess is they went over the hill and got turned around. They are Blitz and Clay. They did not have their collars on!

Sarah Nichols it did for my friend. She called and they said no. I went in and looked for her and her dog had been there for days.

General Information: Set up a scent station. Get a scent that the dog is familiar with out in front of the house (EX Worn clothing / shoes from a family member that the dog lives with.) Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media). Ask your neighbors to check their doorbell or house cameras (if applicable), sheds and garage. Owners: Do not try and search for the dog - as your scent travels when you are out and walking all over can confuse the dog. The dog should only smell your scent near your home. Never underestimate the ability of a dog to find their way home using their nose. Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing to see if it has been picked up. Prayers your dog is found safely. Beware of scammers.
