He knows his way home so something is preventing him - yes he could be trapped under a crawl space or in a shed - it's best to knock on doors around your block asking neighbors to open garages, sheds and crawl spaces - any space they recently CLOSED - ask neighbors to check RING cameras for night movement - in case he hurt his paw for example and cannot jump back over a neighbors fence..you are trying to get a sighting and also gain access to as many yards as possible within your block to start Print FLYERS and go door to door and meet your neighbors. this really helps folks to check in stead of just agreeing to . Lost cat tazzy was stuck under the crawl space of the nextdoor neighbors for 3 weeks!! they called for him at night calmly and walked around hoping for a meow - they even checked that crawl space but this time they checked using a flashlight and caught the REFLECTION of Tazzy's eyes!! Put out a bowl of water in the front and back of your residence. Ask every neighbor to do the same for any dehydrated cat who needs water...some will some won't all helps. If someone doesn't answer the door take note of the address or mark it on a printed google map (very helpful to do this) and return and try again later. In the meantime TAPE a flyer directly onto their front door using painter's tape (won't harm) when you return if the flyer is down then hopefully at least tehy got the flyer - i encourage you to talk to as many neighbors as possible and gain access to as many yards as possible to check under decks/porches etc. At night walk around slowly and call for him....it took 1 week before LOST CAT PRETO (indoor /outdoor) meowed back at 11pm on night 7! it was the 500th call and fianlly he meowed and they were able to get him out of the garage hole he was hiding inside and trapped inside. YOU will find him! don't give up no matter what anyone says . He is near and just needs your help to gethim home. ❤️

💥💥WARNING💥💥 SCAMMERS 💥💥will claim they found your cat!. SCAMMERS will text you saying they’re affiliated with Pawboost or an ANIMAL SHELTER and that they HAVE YOUR CAT and that YOU need to PROVE who you are by giving other phone numbers, your email, verifying google codes etc or to send money to get your cat from the shelter. These are all SCAMMERS! THEY WON'T Send you a PHOTO of your cat (they'll make up any excuse) OR THEY'LL SEND a PHOTO of a similar cat - or a blurry video - but it’s not your cat! Look closely. Please know that If your actual neighbor sees or has your cat they will give you information freely (and will post a PHOTO on your listing and not make you ‘send a code or personal information or money. 💥There’s a NEW SCAM on Facebook the scammer will say something like ‘my husband found your cat please message me your phone number “ meaning they want you to message them from your Facebook messenger your phone number! 💥The Facebook SCAMMER will tell you to look up a lost cat search team they used on Instagram or another platform saying their cat was found within hours -it’s a total SCAM. LOOK AT THEIR FACEBOOK PROFILE - you may see alot of (PAID) followers but they are not following anyone, The profile will have a few photos only, usually just selfies and the profile was created not long ago. You will see no posts / conversations with friends , I report the account to Facebook Scammers are heartless. TONIGHT - Go out and CALL For kitty in a very calm, NORMAL voice, with zero` stress in your voice, and if your kitty likes the sound of crinkling a treat bag or opening a can of food then try that...call for your sweet kitty for 30 minutes straight - listen for faint meows nearby in case kitty is stuck unable to get back (though many cats will NOT meow for fear of predators knowing their location) Walk around very slowly calling for kitty .... Be patient - many cats accidentally get locked inside garages and sheds and storage areas when neighbors leave town..keep trying. —- 💜🙏 Dear guardian. I'm so sorry your sweet Indoor/Outdoor kitty is missing. Kitty could be STUCK / TRAPPED at a neighbors unable to get back (OR GOT spooked and is hiding nearby) and why you must take action in several ways in order to cover ALL possibilities - ESPECIALLY in person – with your actual neighbors on your block to start. FLYERING door to door and talking to neighbors is KEY 🙏 🐱 Taking ACTION IN PERSON is CRITICAL 🐱 Leave a WAY BACK INSIDE for kitty to sneak inside in case kitty is now stuck in a garage and gets released… 💥TONIGHT - CALL FOR KITTY CALMLY and sweetly, with ZERO stress in your voice. Scared cats are the best hiders. 🐱ASK NEIGHBORS to check their RING CAMERA and to add a missing cat alert. 🐱 GAIN ACCESS TO YOUR NEIGHBORS YARDS: Get permission for YOU to check their yards physically -.explain kitty will hide from strangers and it's best for you to check anywhere kitty could be hiding, under a crawl space or deck (Use a flashlight to catch the reflection of kitty’s eyes. They are silent hiders.
