MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Hi everyone, We are heartbroken and frantically looking for a very special member of our family- our cat, Nacho. He was last seen walking on our fence line in the early hours of Wednesday, March 27th. We are the ONLY family Nacho has ever known. We adopted him when he was 6 weeks old shortly after my husband and I got married. He has been apart of every special memory in our family and our 3 children absolutely adore him. He is very much loved and we are desperate to find him. He has NEVER left before- he has never adventured off or just gone missing like this ever. He is a creature of habit and has always stayed in our or in our yard when he hangs out with his canine brother and sister. Please, please check your grges, your door bell cameras, anything that can help lead us to him. We don’t know if something chased him- or if someone thought he was lost or abandoned but we are offering a cash reward for his return.

DESCRIPTION

Nacho is a 9 year old LARGE Maine coon. He is a black and brown tabby with bobcat whispies on his ears with a pink nose. He has a mostly black fluffy tail. He is neutered and very friendly. Has all of his claws. We are FRANTIC to find him- he has never left our or our back yard. He is mostly an indoor cat but likes to hang with his canine brother and sister on our property but has NEVER gone missing in our 9 years of owning him. Please help us find our guy. CASH REWARD FOR HIS RETURN.

Christy Portales we are praying for that! He is no where at the shelters. We are hoping to borrow a camera from a neighbor to put in our backyard too 💔

1 LOST CAT ADVICE Tonight when the neighborhood is quiet put their litterbox*, some of your worn clothes, and their favorite food* outside the door the cat went out. Go sit outside that door and softly call them, not frantic calling. Listen for response, they generally don’t go far. When the cat responds try and let them come to you rather than chasing after it. You may have success leaving the door cracked open where the cat can just come in the house on its own. *If you are in an area that has predators, do not leave the litter box or food out unsupervised as it may attract them. Create a flyer and post to all neighborhood, city, and lost & found Facebook groups in your area. Make sure all nearby shelters are notified that he is missing, provide them with a flyer and your contact information. Go in person daily or frequently as possible to check their recent intakes. Shelters are busy and have a lot of staff members and volunteers in and out daily. The telephone staff may not realize he has been brought in. If the cat is microchipped, double check to ensure the microchip registration is current and on a national data base. Hope kitty is home soon!
