Message from Owner

I’m 16 and I’ve had milo since he was a kitten, this was my first time ever being away from him and he was in the care of my sister and ran out the door. Milo has always been an indoor cat and I fear if I don’t find him, the worst could happen 😔

The following link is to an article written by lost pet recovery expert, Lovy Myers. It applies to your kitty as he is in a new area. These cats tend to not travel more than 1/2 mile from point of loss, per Lovy. Put up signs and fliers in this area and knock on doors to raise awareness and get sightings. Because of the heat, people leave their garages open and then close them. A kitty can get trapped in them so ask neighbors to check garages. It could take a while but don't give up! https://www.facebook.com/groups/CowetasLostPets/permalink/2559544970830305

He's probably nearby and just scared. These are some of the best tips for finding an indoor cat who has gotten outside. https://www.facebook.com/legacy/notes/2559544967496972/

Did Milo escape from his home or from a home that he wasn’t familiar with?

Don't lose hope. My son lost his cat for 2 or 3 days but he didn't go far. Put out a trap, put some of his toys and bedding and food outside near your house. Put some posters up if you can. Listen and look for him often. Good luck!
