Message from Finder

The sweet cat was found. It is currently being fed and watered in my sister’s backyard. I would really like to find the owner of this sweet cat. The cat appears to be one to two years old and is very small. The cat also has what appears to be an old leg injury that causes him to limp. The cat has one very distinctive marking on one side of its body. For the cat’s safety, I’m not showing or describing that marking publicly. If you believe this is your cat, please tell me what the marking looks like and which side of the body it’s is on. The true owner should be able to identify it easily

Hi, I am the one who posted this. my sister is still keeping an eye on the cat and I have purchased a microchip scanner. So the first thing, we will be scanning it for a microchip. And will keep you updated.

What to do if you find a Cat 1. Please give the cat some food and water. 2. See if the cat has tags. If so, owner can be traced through rabies or microchip tag. 3. If you can safely transport, please take to your nearest vet, Pet Store or shelter to have checked for a microchip. 4. If no ID on cat, post on nextdoor and the Ring Neighbor app. 5. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 6. Make a found report to all local shelters 7. Post on PetFBI site. .org is the ending for that site. 8. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups and your Neighborhood group if there is one. 9. If you cannot hold onto for a day or two while searching for the owner, please arrange for the local shelter to take. The cat will go through a legal stray hold if not claimed. This is a last resort as the cat may belong to a neighbor. Some areas allow cats to roam under the TNR ordinance and some do not. 10. If no owner comes forward and you can keep the cat, even better.
