he’s black and really big, didn’t approach him but he doesn’t look like he would bite or anything, looks very skinny and tired like he’s been wandering around for a while now, please help him

he’s huge but looks like a total sweetheart i can’t approach him because my mom is really scared of dogs and i don’t want him to follow me , but please let’s try to find him his or someone that can help him, i doubt it is someone’s from this street because we had never seen him before, please help him, the first time we saw him was yesterday but he looks like he’s been lost for longer.
