Try Going out late at night ie midnight and again early am ie 5 or 6 am with their smelly food and treats. Shake treat bag and call out their name. Take a flashlight and check under porches and bushes. Also if you can leave a basement window and garage door open so they can get in. Do for multiple days if needed. Good luck. Kitties don’t usually go far from home

❗ Call the microchip company ASAP, they will send out an alert. ❗️Post flyers everywhere, including local shelters, vets, and police stations. Make sure to call all of them to see if anyone has turned the cat in. ❗️Post on the Citizen App ASAP, it will reach thousands of people in your area in a matter of minutes. ❗️Ask neighbors if they have cameras or ring doorbells, and if they can look at them to see if he passed by. ❗️Buy or rent a trap from a rescue, vet, police station, friend, or neighbor. ❗️Get cans of 9-Lives, put the trap by your house or building, and put the food inside (1 can at a time on a plate). Write a note: “Please don’t touch, trapping lost cat, please call (add your #) if seen.” Check the trap every 15 minutes, as you might catch other wildlife that needs to be released. ❗️Be patient — it can take a couple of days to catch him as cats get scared when not used to being outside, and they act differently. They normally hide during the day and come out at night. ❗️Check under the porches and back decks of neighbors, as they make great hiding spots, along with bushes. ❗Use a flashlight when searching at night, if the light hits her face, her eyes will glow. ❗️Use a drone to scan the area, yards, and hard to access area 🙏🏻 You find him soon 🐈‍⬛

Tonya Lawndale I have a senior ginger cat too. My heart goes out to lost pets and helping them reunite with their family. Unfortunately, many times pet owners aren't informed they need to register the chip. That happened to me with my previous tuxedo Jasmine. And with my current cat Teddy the rescue gave me the incorrect microchip information. I'm glad at his first vet visit I had him scanned for confirmation and then registered him with the correct company. Oso will be so happy to see you. ♡

Linda Marie I’m so fortunate that you saw both posts! You’re an angel! I’ve had Oso for over 15 years and definitely thought his microchip was registered. Will make sure it is asap.

Jayy Franklin thank you so much! We were moving something’s to our car right out front and he pushed the door open and slipped out. We’re only a few houses down-I knew he wouldn’t go very far! We were out looking all night, so relieved that he’s safe. My husband is in the process of picking him up now. Thanks for feeding and keeping him safe! He’s the sweetest boy in the world!

Tonya Lawndale i caught the lil fella walking towards me and i thought it was a stray but he was super friendly that right away told me he belonged to somebody but he was well fed and got all of my undivided attention until animal control came🫂
