Message from Owner

***UPDATE*** On Wednesday, April 22, a neighbor on the Nextdoor app informed me that Spot had been found and posted under the Facebook page “Dignowity Hill Animal Safety & Welfare.” I immediately reached out directly to the local rescuer who posted him and identified myself as his owner. At first, the rescuer told me that Spot had not been with them long and had escaped the yard that night. Later, the rescuer told me that Spot had actually been brought to her only to be scanned for a chip, then left with the person who originally brought him there, and that he allegedly escaped later that same night during the flash flood in the Nolan / Hackberry area. I asked to be connected with the last known person who had Spot, but the rescuer told me that person did not want to be named. I reached out several days ago and still have not been able to connect with the last known person who had Spot or receive any direct contact information. The original post was later deleted that same day after I had reached out. The attached photo is the most recent photo of Spot and is the same photo used when he was posted as found. I have been searching for Spot day and night since the very first day he went missing and still have not been able to locate him. I have visited ACS and the Humane Society every day with no luck. As the days pass, I’m starting to lose hope. Spot has been a huge source of comfort and companionship in my life, and losing him has been incredibly hard. My only goal is to understand what happened and, most importantly, make sure Spot is safe and bring him safely. Would any owner be concerned by this situation? I would appreciate the community’s thoughts and any advice on what I should do. If anyone has seen Spot or has information, please message me as soon as possible.

Make flyers from your pawboost to put up in the area and post on nextdoor and the Ring Neighbors app.
