Every owner is aware and if the shelter Thorough with your meet and greet Then you what to do with the microchip when they go missing. All owner's responsibility to DOUBLE check the microchip got registered never assume bad mistake. You also need to make sure your phone number email and address got entered correctly one number wrong and they can't get a hold of you AND Report missing..Did you do All this? And this is separate from filing missing reports with the shelters you also need to do that

Edit post to include Myrtle Avenue and best number for somebody to go to any potential spottings immediately day or night don't know why you don't have in this post. Absolutely do not rely on comet section many times people get notified way too late like few days later. File missing report with Bradshaw shelter if lost in Sacramento County. Make sure you put on the next door app in neighbor's ring app daily so nobody forgets. Post to Citrus Heights lost found loose animal Facebook Group. It is every owner's responsibility and they're very aware check shelter website several times a day they update starting at noon when the public can bring them in. Bradshaw is closed on Mondays.. Go in every couple days speak with them show pictures even if microchip never rely on vets shelters or anybody else calling you bad mistake... Can you say rescued from a shelter I think the better words would be you adopted for a shelter
