Your dog is safe and cared for at the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society in Bowling Green, KY. You can call the shelter tomorrow morning at 270-842-8572 and they will tell you how to reclaim. Just know for tonight that he is inside, safe from the storm, has food and water and a comfy blanket.

Stefany De Galván im sure they can get his microchip set up for you too! Had his chip been registered the vet clinic could’ve given me your info or called you and he could’ve been picked up from them. And I’m so glad the vehicles that almost hit him missed him! I had a mad person behind me when I stopped to get him off the road honking and all. I was not from the area and didn’t see any houses near where he was at. He was pretty overheated and I did get him some bottled water. I sat talking to multiple law enforcement non emergency lines and even the sumner county animal control. But they refused to take him because I don’t have a Tennessee license. They told me basically put him back out there to get hit. And watching him run all over the road was the worst thing ever to see. My heart wouldn’t let me just drop him back out there on the side of the road and hope for the best. If my two boys ever got out of their fence I’d hope someone would have got them safely too. I also know he looked well cared for an someone loved him and his breed someone may claim him that wasn’t his real owner too. I did what considering being Sunday seemed the safest thing to do. In today’s day and time I’m sorry but I wasn’t going door to door trying to find an owner when all that was around where he wandered to was businesses and gas stations and Ran down old stores. I did drive out of my way to make sure he was safe and cared for and networked to find his owner though. I’m so glad he’s going home alive and that you didn’t have to find him hit and hurt or worse 🫶

Glenda Kay Sheppard that’s the safest thing to do especially when no police station would take it and sumner animal control wouldn’t. He literally was causing traffic issues almost got hit multiple times also. It could’ve been alot worse. She could’ve been sc a body off the road! So yes the shelter where he could be safely held an microchipped and networked when th other shelters opened was where he was taken 🤷🏻‍♀️
