She is likely scared so when she saw you, she ran. This is called "survival mode" whereby they run from everyone, including the owner. She will warm up once she realizes it is you. She will come back as she wants to come in. Stay far from the open door. If its at night, lights off at entrance.

Morgan Chadwick some clothes and food, but not litter box as they attract predators. The food still there, only one day was eaten. I was just thinking about buying a cat trap, but if you can borrow it that will be better 😊 chat me at 404-789-1501 and we can coordinate. Thank you I think a day after she was lost I scared her off, cause I saw the eyes glowing after midnight and I run out calling her 😭 back then I didn’t know the tips I know now. My son used to go looking for her at dawn but so far not luck.; I’m praying she is still fine

Hilda Nic I have a cat trap. I assume you have left food and her litter box on the porch? If so, is the food being eaten at all? I lost a cat once and had to trap her bc she would come home but as soon as she heard a noise she took off. Let me know if you want to borrow it
