Pet Recovery experts recommend leaving the door that the cat escaped from open at night and keeping it dark and quiet both inside and outside. Many cats have returned home this way. Please do not put their litter outside as it may attract predators like coyotes and territorial cats. Please do not put food out as it may also attract predators. Your kitty knows there is food inside its home. Most indoor cats after escaping outside will go into shock/survival mode and hide during the day and come out at night when it is dark and quiet. You can search under bushes with a flashlight for their eyeshine. If you find her, get down low and approach her quietly and slowly as she may now even view you as a predator. You might gently shake a treat bag. Calling her name loudly may cause her to feel exposed. Indoor kitties do not usually go very far. I hope you are reunited soon.

Read ALL suggestions please! *Post on NextDoor near you asap. Its free and covers multiple neighborhoods near yours. **The #1 Tools for reuniting pets are colorful, pictured "Lost" Signs/Flyers! Put them around your neighborhood, entrances/exits and close intersections. Put one in your yard also! *He/she could be "stuck" or locked in somewhere so ask neighbors to check garage, shed etc.. *IMMEDIATELY leave garage door cracked enough for her/him to return, as kitty needs a way back in. Leave some food, water and your worn clothing inside garage as well for the scent. They usually return during darkness, when its quiet and they feel safe to return. *Go out at night when its dark and quiet. Call your kitty and then give time to listen for a meow. Dont chase it...squat down and shake a bag of treats and let kitty come to you❤🙏
