Message from Owner

Alfie is only 8 months old. He's still quite small but has a huge personality. He's very sweet-natured and loving and friendly. And has quite a loud and insistent miaow. He's chipped and has been neutered. I'm heartbroken and missing him so much. He followed me up Vanbrugh Drive around 3.45pm, then ran back when he spotted a dog and I haven't seen him since. Apparently, according to the dog walker, he ran up the tree beside the green bin next to the flts on Vicarage Fields that overlook Vanbrugh Drive. I've been out day and night, walking around shaking his favourite treats bag and calling his name. This is out of character. He's a very sweet cat, always comes when called and loves his treats. He's 8 months old, black on top, white belly, four white paws and a white nose with a black splodge on one side. He also has a quite a loud and insistent miaow. He's microchipped and registered to Cottimore vets on Terrace Road, Walton-on-Thames. Please can you check your outbuildings etc. He has a habit of wandering into other people's hses and cars too if he sees an open door so he may have jumped into a van. I've checked with all the local vets. Yesterday (18th) did a 200 hse leaflet drop around Thorneycroft Close (where I live). One possible sighting by a lovely lady who called me after she got one of the flyers. She's sure she saw Alfie in Shaw Drive near the junction with Vanbrugh Drive on Wednesday afternoon (17th). I've been up there twice yesterday - during the day and late at night around midnight, but nothing. And another from a lady who thinks she may have seen him walking across her fence on Tuesday night on Thorneycroft Close where it meets Vanbrugh Drive and also sitting on her sofas, but it's possible it may have been his sister Daisy, who looks similar but doesn't have any white on her face and is a bit bigger. She does roam around that area and could be mistaken for Alfie. Please, on the off-chance that someone's taken a fancy to him as he is such a lovely wee boy, he is much missed here by Daisy and obviously me, so please let him come home. If you've seen him/do see him please contact me. Thank you.

Give all details of Alfie to the local postal sorting office and also to your own postman/postwoman. Posties are great as they go everywhere and see all. Good luck 🐈
