Aysegul Km Cats usually don't go far from home on their own. Go out after dark/dusk with flashlight looking under cars, bushes, wooded areas, under decks, porches, stairways, stored objects looking for reflection of their eyes. Also walk shaking her favorite bag of treats, calling her. Put something of yours heavy with your scent (dirty clothes, pillow case, blanket etc) outside. If you have something you can tear into pieces and make a trail back home would also work. Post signs asking neighbors for possible sightings. Can also make a trail of smelly food ( mackeral/tuna mixed with water & brine) toward your house or put out food and fresh water hoping she will come home when she is hungry. Do NOT put out litter. Many suggest this but this can tempt other animals to use or mark as their own which will keep your baby away.
Cats have a much higher threshold than other animals. They can stay hidden for days even weeks before reaching their threshold. Most times, an owner gives up before the cat ever reaches their threshold to come out. You physically going and searching helps get your scent out and can help your cat reach their threshold sooner. Your scent = safety to your cat. Please, DON’T give up.
