Stray Cat Sighting in Hope Mills, NC 28348

Description

Appearance: Young domestic shorthair tabby kitten. Brown and black striped markings with a lighter belly. Large, bright yellowish-green eyes and prominent ears. Small in size, looks to be a young kitten. Behavior: This little one is an absolute sweetheart! They are incredibly friendly, comfortable with people, and not aggressive at all. They love to talk with soft mews. Originally spotted this morning around 8:00 AM, Tuesday August 25th, under parked cars in a nearby neighborhood and last seen by the back lots of the Walmart Distribution Center. They are likely very scared right now and hiding under vehicles or bushes to escape the heat.

PLEASE HELP LOCATE THIS KITTEN: This sweet kitten was last seen today on 8/25/2026 near a back lot around 1020 Wal Mart Dr in Hope Mills, NC behind the Walmart Distribution Center. It was initially found in a different neighborhood but was unfortunately left in this area and ran toward the woods/back lots and is very small and vulnerable. If you live or work near Walmart Dr, or the surrounding areas, please keep an eye out on your porches, under cars, or on cameras. If spotted, please reply here or contact local rescues immediately so we can get this baby to safety. Thank you so much.
